A few technical things people ask before they drop their keys at our Oxford Road workshop.
Can I wait at the shop while you work?
Honestly, no. We don't have a showroom or a coffee bar—just four guys and some oily bays. Most services take 3.2 hours or more. It is best to drop the car off at 9:00 and we will text you when the diagnostic log is ready.
Do you use 'off the shelf' tuning files?
No. Generic files don't account for 98 octane fuel in the UK or local humidity. We build every map on the dyno based on your engine's specific health. We focus on torque curves, not just peak numbers for a brochure.
Why does a titanium exhaust build take 2 weeks?
Titanium is picky about oxygen. We use Grade 2 titanium and every joint is TIG welded with full back-purging to prevent internal oxidation. It's a slow process—roughly 3 times slower than steel—but it's the only way to ensure the system doesn't crack after ten heat cycles.
Do you work on other car brands?
We focus our tooling and diagnostic software on Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati. We occasionally take on an Alfa or a high-spec Fiat, but we'll say no if we aren't the right fit for your specific engine block.
